BETS & PREDICTIONS GAME for Campaign 5 of Season 3: Lyn Azveltara Gaiden!

Hey! I'm now doing these bet games (which frankly need a better name) on the Friday before the game consistently, so while this isn't late, per se, you'll have to make your bests real quick. Make sure to watch the Character Creation and preview for as much insider info as you can! Here's the link to the last game, and I hope you enjoy this one! I've added a new rule to prevent some troubles from last time, as well.

1. In your post, pick which bets to take. Any not mentioned you'll be assumed to be abstaining from (not winning or losing anything). It's handy if you copy the name of the bet as well as its point value when I tally it up at the end.
1.5 The bets at the very bottom are CHOICE bets-- that is to say, you can only pick one out of a given set of 2+.
2. The value listed on a bet is what you'll get if you bet on it and it comes true, but if it doesn't come true, you lose points equal to half its value! Bet carefully!
3. Whoever gets the most points once the campaign ends wins! Points will carry over from last round, but only to tally up-- they won't count towards winning.

Now onto the fabled, long-awaited BETS FOR S3C5:

  • @Gushy48 obviously I'm going to win it but I'll regret my choice! r-right?

  • Good to see lots of familiar faces back for their third or fourth go-around.

    @Toruk: No, the 'shows up' bets don't require anyone to be there. I figure being shown in a flashback or flash-forward is enough, so long as it's not something like Rob accidentally picking the wrong puppet.

    @Dalard: We are going to be so guilty.

    I wish I could say I have a good feeling about this, but honestly, with the Tower, you can never truly know what to expect. I'm gonna get fewer points than normal that's for sure.
    (inb4 I get more somehow.)
  • we really should be gilding these threads
  • Gotta say I like the inclusion of the "OR" bets. Adds an interesting twist!

    @Phendrix In this instance, it would only count across floors if the combat lasted across floors. So, if one player stays in a combat for ages, but the other players move on, that'd still count as first combat-- but if a combat encounter was entirely beaten and moved on from, that'd end it.

    For instance, in S3C4, the combat with the rats technically lasted an absurd amount of time in those sewers, just because it was basically all one shot without a real break. So that was an obvious win for that bet, even with the last combat having a really tough Lance.

    @Rob Thanks!  :)

    edit: Whoops Phendrix I realized I didn't really answer the question. I'd count it as combat only if there are combatants, so soft combat like the lava room won't count.
  • @kilozombie
